Specialized Company that services ATM machines for regional banks needed to expand its main offices - with the purpose of offering more secure services to banks and savings & loans.
Details:
Guided by company's insurance carrier's high priority listing for security improvements, the design and construction documents were completed in three weeks. Detailing was assisted by: before selected contractor; manufacturer's reps for bullet resistant doors, glazing - which added acceleration of design; specifications and code compliance review.
Major renovations included: conversions from warehousing into garage space for vans and small trucks into and throughout two major sub-security "lock down" areas; two new administrative offices; restricting the degree of openness and made the main entry controlled access with key card; maintaining daylight by replacing windows with glass block units; extending of multi-layered security system; modifications to HVAC system; new bullet resistant doors and windows at selected locations; installation of new vault for money storage; and modifying electrical system to accommodate changes.
