Planning for the Future (Overall Growth Scenario)

Client: Church of Christ at Grey Rd

Project:
Develop a feasible phased master plan to provide church with overall development guidance and direction for its diverse multi-faceted growth, on its 10.2 acres of land. Phased components of master plan were: Phase I - Multipurpose facility - gymnasium, 12 classrooms, computer laboratory, daycare operations, general offices, pastor suite, conference room and support areas; Phase II - Senior Housing Apartments - modern apartments for 80 seniors, community meeting rooms/lounges, library computer center, games and TV room, dinning room, physical therapy, and support areas; Phase III - New K-8 School Facility - providing computer and science labs, classrooms with control day lighting, greenhouse study lab, kitchen and cafeteria/dining, administrative offices, auditorium with high tech audio/visual equipment, library/media resource center, plus exterior recreation areas; Phase IV - Expansion of Existing Church Sanctuary - to increase seating capacity to 268 new seats; the design and construction of a new balcony around three rear sides of existing floor plan.
