Client: Mt. Calvery Church Women's Mission

Project:
Develop a new design concept of an environmentally engaged building, which would house a new universal counseling program. The goal which, was to promote and nurture family wellness, positive attitudes, as well as human development.

Details:
The structure was designed to be un-attached and arranged in somewhat of a dormitory fashion on the wings, but the core areas interlaced and flowing. The primary common areas included: meeting / conference rooms, den or lounges, low and high level activity rooms, kitchen and a common dining area. The core flowed out into a nature at specific points; as exterior environments were thoughtfully landscaped with feng shui concepts, as nature was integral to this counseling process.

The individual's rooms were combination living and sleeping rooms with full bathrooms with lots of natural daylight and hopeful mature landscape, external to immediate site, surroundings.
