Ancillary Building & Bus Garage Renovations

Location: Colerain Township, Ohio
Client: St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church

Project:
The church had for years under utilized a 2,500 sf. ancillary building with an attached three bay garage complex. With a goal to maximize the out-reach programs of the church comprehensive renovations were commissioned.

Details:
Site development involved: designing a retaining wall at rear to restore and stabilize soil elevation; installing trench drains to improve on site storm water management; earth berms at front entrance; new concrete paver walk system; and resurfacing of parking areas. Building facades were sensitively redesigned to highlight interior functions while exhibiting a new public face.

Ancillary building new floor plan conditions: four private offices; on small and one large conference rooms, common receptionist/administrative assistant personnel pool; staff break room; mechanical room; two separate unisex restrooms; new flooring and ceilings throughout; walls appropriately detailed for required finishes; and fire safety upgrades.

A new steel 3 dimensional framing facing system was designed to provide a new perspective look to the garage piece of the complex.
