2012 Renfro Funeral Services - Expansion
FWAS was commissioned to develop several conceptual schemes for expansion of the existing building. The planning involves thinking about business different than as in past. Project will also entail a living dwelling on top floor over business.

FWAS was awarded by SBA this exclusive status on February 1st, 2012 after a rigorous application and review process. Now with a new update business plan in place FWAS will be agressively pursuing appropriate mutually benificial teaming opportunities.
2011-2012 Grant County Career Advancement Center
FWAS have developed several schemes for the logical and challenging consolidation of three service programs (GAteway Community Technical Colloge, One Stop Shop, and Brighton Center) which has agreed to joint occupational lease arrangements. Current target date for occupancy is September of 2012.
2011-2012 Day Care Businesses Achieves Critical Goals
FWAS hired to assist two unrelated day care businesses with their need to obtain certificate of occupancy and/or change of use.
2010-Ongoing VA Medical Centers: Dayton and Chillicothe, Ohio.
As Project Architects under an IDIQ contract, which started in 2008, FWAS has design and completed several project with the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Projects ranged between $285,000 and $350,000. Current status of projects: Completed Building #411 (Dayton) floor tile and masonry repairs; Building #9 (Chillicothe) Comprehensive Renovations; Morgue Renovations (Chillicothe) Under Construction - Campus wide ADA ramps project; Building 35 Lobby and Entrance Renovations. Healing Gardens concept was placed on hold due to budget realignment.
2008-Ongoing New Dining Hall Facilities IBCT-1 and IBCT-2, Ft Bliss, El Paso, Texas.
As part of Au Authum KI's design/build team,under a MATOC/ IDIQ contract, FWAS as Project Architects and its engineering partner completed the final punchlist on these two facilities for the US Army Corps of Engineers Center of Excellence for dining facilities, on September 2010 & March 2010 respectively. These halls are 26,800 sf each, at cost of $9 to $10 million and will serve 1365 soldiers meals daily. Projects have now been successfully operational since November 2010 & May 2011
2010-2013 ARRA Project: Joseph P. Kinneary US Courthouse, Columbus, Ohio.
Phase I: Building Systems Replacement and Phase II:Facade Restoration and New Windows; Under an IDIQ contract with GSA FWAS was awarded a contract to provide Owner's Construction Representation throughout the project phase I and II, including design and construction of this $24 million project. Scope of work spans three years.
2011 New School Building/Hurricane Shelter, Negril, Jamaica
Giving back FWAS provided design services pro-bono for ACG Enterprises in its development of a new school building for a local community. The major classroom space can be subdivided and used for other community events. Critical importance will be its use as a hurricane shelter, where none now exists.
2010-2011 Greater Christ Temple Church-New Sanctuary w/ Classrooms and Administration Wing; Nashville, Tennessee.
Hired to prepare a feasibility study to determine the validity of building a new 2,000 seat sanctuary while converting a former hospital structure into the required classrooms and administrative areas. As Project Architects and Planners, FWAS has been retained to move forward with the actual design for this project to be one phase of a 16.2 acres site.
2010-2011 Bloom School Empowering Center, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Leading the way as project developer and project architects, FWAS, has an option with Cincinnati Public Schools to conduct an overall feasibility analysis on this currently vacant 104,000 sf four storied historic structure; which encompasses nearly half of a city block. Partnership with a existing businesses and services organizations have already been formed and commitments are underway. (Project on Hold)
2010 GSA: Special Service Contract, Cincinnati, Ohio
FWAS was hired to complete a thorough assessment of all existing mechanical equipment in two federal buildings. Teaming with KLH Engineers our team with a 30 day window completed the detail survey and assessments, to the delight and complete satisfaction of the project manager/contracting officer.
