A cursory look at design projects completed by our staff over the past 18 months illustrates a true diversity of project types. For example: two projects are located in other countries i.e. Jamaica, and Nigeria. The clients' composition additionally is quite varied, ranging from: non-profit; local retailer; a charter school; commercial real estate investor; small church; and private individuals. Plus, with FWAS holding three Federal IDIQ contracts, we continuously complete projects for :the Veterans Administration; GSA; and, Army Corps of Engineers.
Design Services required for all projects included the basics with the additional servicing in: master planning; adaptive re-use; new buildings attached and detached; design/build teaming; delivery method; and engineering LEED/Green sustainable design. The new dining hall facilities for the Army Corps required a minimum of LEED-silver certifiable building.
First World Architects Studio in its own way continues to push the envelope while engaging the aspects of good architecture, makes for a better environment and therefore an improvement in the lives of those who come in contact or are the end-users of all the facilities we are fortunate to assist our clients in completing; in the past, the present and into the future.
